I am a positive and enthusiastic teacher who understands how children learn. I have a wealth of experience teaching students from a variety of backgrounds with an excellent track record of ensuring achievement.

I am Head of Department and have had numerous external stakeholders including serving OFSTED inspectors scrutinise my curriculum and give excellent feedback. I am responsible for coaching teachers and therefore have an in-depth experience of Teaching and Learning, therefore I understand the components of a lesson that ensure that students make the most progress. I have experience of exam board marking and have been on numerous courses with both Edexcel and Eduqas and can help students decode the markschemes to understand what is required.

My lessons will be tailored to your needs however I will ensure that misconceptions are addressed and essential knowledge retrieval takes place alongside exam technique practice and studies of the mark schemes to ensure that students know exactly what is required to achieve.

Tutoring with me is perfect for students looking to push to achieve grades 8 and 9 and also for students looking to convert grades 3 and 4 to a grade 5. All lessons will be tailored to the ability of the student and will ensure maximum progress in a dynamic and pacy hour.
