Hi there, my name is Pedro. I am from Lisbon in Portugal, I am 27 years old, and I am currently living in Cape Town in South Africa.

I can speak English, Spanish and Portuguese.

I have a bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy and a Postgraduate Diploma in Sport Management. Currently, I am writing my thesis for my Master's at the University of Cape Town.

I have also worked for Manchester City Football Club for one year, which was a great experience to learn relevant insights.

Regarding my expertise and main areas of interest:

(1) Passion for football; high-level knowledge and understanding of the game; past football experience in Portugal at national level, playing for "Os Belenenses" for four years.

(2) The topic of my master’s research is Talent Identification methods within South African professional football clubs/academies. It looks at the football coaches' decision-making and strategies to identify and select the most talented players.

(3) Strategic Sport Management – my work for Manchester City identifying and suggesting commercial partnerships, sponsorships, media collaborations, global trends, and opportunities in the market.
