My classes are based on your interests and needs. We can use a variety of materials, including books, authentic materials, or a mix of both. I commit to speaking as little as possible and giving you all the tools to communicate in Portuguese from our first meeting. I want to make you feel comfortable and enjoy the pleasure of learning a new language.
I have experience teaching students of all levels, from beginner to advanced. With beginner students, we will focus on building sentences and ideas that are meaningful and relevant. This is because the more relevant what is being said, the easier it is to learn. We will also explore the full diversity of Portuguese, from Brazilian Portuguese to Portuguese spoken in Portugal and Africa.
