As someone who's been teaching piano for people of various backgrounds and ages, I like to build my class around the student, in a way that the environment created is the best for learning.
My lessons will consist of an introduction to the class's topics/songs/compositions (which are totally up to the student), and the rest of the lesson will be dedicated towards improving the skills and understanding of whatever we will be working on.
