Pedro Freitas Fernandes

Hello! My name is Pedro Freitas Fernandes, and I am an experienced psychology graduate with a passion for teaching and inspiring others through psychology and all it has to offer.

I hold a 1st Class Honours BSc in Psychology from Liverpool John Moores University and am currently pursuing MSc in Positive Psychology and Wellbeing. My academic journey has equipped me with an in-depth understanding of core areas, such as, cognitive, biological, developmental, and social psychology, as well as advanced research methodologies.

In addition to my studies, I have hands-on experience as a psychology research assistant and wellbeing coordinator, roles that have honed my ability to explain complex psychological concepts in accessible and engaging ways. I’ve conducted qualitative research soon to be published in an academic journals and led educational interventions addressing exam anxiety for post-16 students. These experiences have enhanced my communication skills and fostered my ability to support diverse learners effectively.
