Pauline Blum

Hi, I am Pauline. I am a French masters student in Stoke-on-Trent. I enjoy teaching and will make sure that you enjoy the lessons too. I have been teaching people of all ages for 3 years now and still enjoy it!

My objectives are for you to learn French and its grammar but mostly to be confident to use your new knowledge, whether in class with me or in the wild by yourself!

After defining your objectives together, we will start learning together the grammar and vocabulary necessary to achieve them. During the first part of a lesson, we will focus on the theory. It will allows to focus on conversation and using that new theory together during the second part of the lesson.
I can give you homework, but no worries, that will depend on your availability and schedule. My goal is not for you to get a negative image of it is like to learn a new language.

I use the A1 scale to gauge my students level. It also allows me to choose the right topic to learn. If you are preparing for a French exam, I will be able to help you prepare and focus on the exam specific requirements. I can use a handbook if necessary such as Cosmopolite, or other sources you had in mind and you preferred.
