I’m a warm, enthusiastic and creative qualified teacher with a genuine passion for English, Art and the power of creative expression. I love helping students discover their own ideas, find their voice and develop the confidence to express themselves, whether that’s through writing, discussion, drawing or creative work.

I believe the best tutoring happens when students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and exploring ideas without pressure. My teaching approach is centred around conversation, thoughtful questioning and positive encouragement, helping students develop a deeper understanding rather than simply memorising information.

Every student is different, so I tailor my lessons around their individual needs, interests and goals. I adapt my explanations, activities and pace to ensure that students feel supported while still being challenged to achieve their best.

My passion for both English and Art means I particularly enjoy encouraging students to think creatively and critically. Whether we are analysing a piece of writing, developing an essay, exploring an artwork or working on creative ideas, I aim to make lessons engaging, accessible and enjoyable.

Above all, I want my tutoring sessions to feel like a friendly and collaborative space where students can build confidence, ask questions freely and take pride in their progress. Learning should be something to enjoy, not something to be afraid of! ??
