I am a Spanish teacher for foreigners who has worked with a variety of students who have different goals in learning Spanish and I have always tried to help them learn the language in the most productive and efficient way according to their needs and personalities.
The students came from various countries: from the United States and Canada to Japan and Korea. Those who came from Europe were mostly German, Swiss, Italian, French, English and even Scandinavian. Some were high school and university students who needed to learn the language for their degrees, others were simply tourists who wanted to be able to speak during their trip to Latin America. I have also worked with expats, diplomats, United Nations and World Bank employees and their families.
We have taught general Spanish courses but also courses with specific purposes, culture (music, literature, popular culture) and economics. I have also prepared many students to take the DELE exam of the Instituto Cervantes, for which I am an accredited examiner.
I have always tried to create a good bond with my students, especially considering that many were far from their country and culture and also needed emotional support. I like to think that I have collaborated so that their contact with the Spanish language has been not only productive but also a beautiful memory of their experiences abroad.
In this new phase of my life I would like to be able to transmit to anyone who is interested my love for my mother tongue and my culture of origin.
