Paula Bland-Butterfield

I have been in education for 20 years and in that time have discovered a few things about myself and what is best for my students. I have generally worked with children and young adults who haven't always had the best start in life and don't have the support around them which other students may have.

Relationships are key and we will always go at a pace that suits you- you are what's important.

We will firstly look at where you are now with your English skills (and what you are confident/unconfident about) and work out how we can get you to where you want to be.

I have taught GCSE English Language and Literature but my passion lies in teaching Functional Skills as that's where I feel the students I love working with can thrive.
