My classes are conducted 100 percent in English. No exceptions ! With 15 years experience teaching students from elementary to advanced, I will assess your level quickly. We will then adapt a variety of engaging resources and activities, to your ability and individual language objectives.
You can expect interactive vocabulary and grammar slideshows with picture prompts, discussions, video exercises, writing tasks (yes, that's homework !), puzzles and games. If you need to pass a Cambridge Exam or similar, I've helped hundreds of students achieve strong results, from FCE to Proficiency. My track record speaks for itself. However, if it's conversation practice that you need, I have techniques to encourage fluency that have proved very popular with my students. I'll give you something topical and relevant to chat about, correct your grammar, and grow your vocabulary.
My philosophy is that mistakes are inevitable, and correction is essential. With patience, repetition, and clear grammar explanations, we'll make the most out of our time together. All in all, I am a demanding, friendly and professional teacher, who takes pride in his work. My students come from all walks of life and will quickly learn how to speak English confidently and accurately. Classes can be 1 to 1 or in small groups.
