How I Will Approach Computer Science Lessons as a Private Tutor

My teaching approach begins with tailoring each lesson to the student's unique needs. I will create or adapt PowerPoint slides to cover the specific subject areas they wish to focus on, ensuring the material aligns with their learning objectives.

During lessons, I will go beyond static slides by incorporating live demonstrations, sharing real-world examples from my extensive experience, and conducting regular check-ins to confirm understanding. If a concept isn’t fully grasped, I’ll revisit it from a different perspective, recognizing that everyone learns differently. Using varied approaches maximizes learning potential.

I believe learning is incomplete without hands-on application. In addition to practical demonstrations during lessons, I will assign homework or use in-session questions to reinforce concepts and test understanding.

To foster engagement, I will infuse lessons with a balance of fun and humour, creating an enjoyable learning environment while staying focused on achieving maximum educational value.

With decades of experience across nearly every aspect of computer science, I offer a deep understanding of both hardware and software, from circuit board components to commercial software logistics. My expertise spans areas such as security, performance, cloud computing, AI, planning, and more, ensuring I can address almost any question, even beyond the immediate topic.

My other passion is helping people learn. Throughout my career, I’ve successfully trained individuals in numerous aspects of computer science and technology. This passion has driven me to transition into full-time coaching and teaching, where I find immense satisfaction in empowering others to grow and succeed.
