Lessons are either face-to-face or online. One-to-one lessons focus on your personal needs.
Lesson length: 45 minutes to 90 minutes.
Number of lessons per week: It depends on what you need!
What to expect: First of all, we'll have a talk to help me understand who you are and what you want to do with English. After that, I will create a needs analysis and then a series of lesson plans.
In class, we will have a range of different activities, all based on what you need. It may be video-based content, a listening session, pronunciation or even grammar (but don't worry, I will make it look easy!)

Whatever the kind of lesson you need, I can guarantee you'll have a fun, interesting and of course useful time!

About me: I'm a graduate from Bangor university, where I studied English and Drama. I hold the Cambridge DELTA and DTLLS. I've been teaching since 1993. In that time, I have been a teacher, course leader, Director of Studies, University lecturer and conference presenter. I started teaching in Turkey (first in Izmir, then Istanbul) in two prestigious language schools. I have lectured in a very large well-known British university and in further education.

I teach general and specialist English, and have an excellent record in helping students with exams such as IELTS. I also help learners who with to enter university here in the UK. My students have gone on to universities such as Durham, Exeter, SOAS, Leicester, Reading, Oxford, Heriot-Watt, and even Harvard!

Apart from teaching English, I am also an actor and voice artist - there's a good chance you might have heard my voice in coursebooks or on videos, or seen me in a tv series!
