Why I’d Make a Great Tutor

With years of experience teaching and mentoring, I’ve developed a passion for helping others reach their full potential. Whether it’s guiding a student to understand a complex subject or inspiring confidence in someone’s abilities, I thrive on making a positive difference.

I bring a unique combination of skills and life experience to my role as a tutor. Having worked as a Teaching Assistant at the British School in Quito, Ecuador, I’ve taught students of varying ages and abilities, learning how to adapt my approach to meet individual needs. My time in Ecuador also enhanced my cultural awareness and flexibility, qualities I carry into every teaching environment.

Beyond traditional academics, I’ve also taught Tang Soo Do Karate since 2019. This has honed my ability to instil discipline, focus, and self-belief in both children and adults. I understand the importance of building confidence alongside technical skills and always aim to make learning enjoyable and engaging.

My professional background as a business owner further strengthens my tutoring ability. Managing teams, training staff, and mentoring new entrepreneurs taught me how to communicate complex ideas in an approachable way. I’ve developed patience, problem-solving skills, and a knack for breaking challenges into manageable steps.

Ultimately, I’m passionate about empowering others to succeed. As a tutor, my goal is not just to teach but to inspire. I want my students to walk away with not only knowledge but also the confidence to tackle their future challenges head-on. Give me a try!
