I'm currently a Medicine student at the University of Exeter with extensive tutoring experience since secondary school. My native language is Polish, and I am fluent in English. I understand the importance of strong language skills for academic success and effective communication with people. I've successfully tutored Polish students in English during secondary school, and I am proud to say that I have helped them obtain GCSE grades of 5 or above in English language or literature. In secondary school, I also organised GCSE science revision sessions for my year and the year below, and I continued tutoring A-level biology and chemistry in college. I also assisted aspiring medical students with interviews, personal statements, and A-level exams. As a Medicine student, I now present to larger groups and teach complex topics, further expanding and developing my teaching skills. In addition, I provide online tutoring sessions, mainly for GCSE subjects and for English or Polish language.

As a tutor, my primary goal is to identify my students' preferred learning styles and determine the most effective approach for optimal results. I believe that learning in a positive environment will help the student enjoy their learning and will help them progress the most. Through my extensive tutoring experience, I've come to understand that everyone learns in their own unique way, whether it's through visuals, listening, reading, or writing activities. I firmly believe that successful teaching lies in the ability to combine these elements and be able to explain any complex or difficult topics to understand in a simple and easy way to understand the basics and then learn more and more in-depth detail. This is something that many teachers and tutors overlook and prefer to go into very detailed and hard to understand explanations which I know discourages students and does not help them. This applies to learning academic subjects like math or science, but also languages.
