I want to offer my help as a tutor as I remember how much my tutor had helped me with becoming the person I am today. I therefore would like to offer a helping hand to somebody who may also be struggling.

With a wide range of experience in a variety of subjects I would like to help anyone who may be struggling to truly grasp their full potential. I believe that with the right kind of attitude and help anyone can strive to any goal they set for themselves and I am interested in helping people get to their goal.

I have experience working with high ability, middle ability, low ability, students with SEND, children in care and EAL students. Due to my experience I really do not think that there is any such thing as “one size fits all” education and I do believe that each experience of education should be tailored to that particular individual and their interest.

From a point of view of who I am, I have a range of life experiences and a background where the statistics suggested that I would not do well in school, however due to the phenomenal parents and (some) teachers that I had I pushed against all odds and did extremely well in my GCSEs which eventually allowed me to gain an offer from Cambridge University, Warwick University and Leeds University to study Law which I am now a graduate in. I am currently undertaking my PGCE to become a history teacher as I have a great passion and interest in education.
