Lessons will include a split of fun and functional stuff and the more theoretical side. The functional parts of the lesson are designed to get you to a position where you can play comfortably and confidently in a band setting, where as the theory side of things will teach you the skills you will need to pass your grading exams. We will discuss your personal goals and aim towards conquering them.

A bit about me:
I have been an active member of the music industry for the past 10 years. Over this time I have toured and recorded with many different bands, covering a variety of genres and instruments. I have toured the UK and Europe with bands such as The Libertines, Sleaford Mods and Electric Six and have amassed over 70k streams on Spotify.

My main focus with lessons is to share my love for music with others and hopefully allow others to experience the amount of joy that I have received from playing music. Not only is it a functional skill that looks great on a CV, it also teaches communication, allows for building friendships and communities and teaches practical and transferable life skills such as collaboration, time management, patience and perseverance and it keeps the mind and body active.

I will teach you how to pass exams, play the songs you love, understand how and why those songs were written and how to start to build your owns songs. Most importantly, I will teach you how to make music!
