My name is Patricia Carla de Castro Goncalves, I’m Portuguese and born on 21-May-1971
I have successfully completed a course of post-secondary higher education degree in PE
(Physical Education), from University Tras-os-Montes e Alto Douro in Lisbon, with 5 years’
duration (plus 1 year of intern) as well as the Post Graduate degree in Education (plus
induction year) from University of Madeira
I am hard-working, confident and conscientious and have a keen desire to be working on a
permanent role within a school in England. Working 14 years as a teacher has given me
excellent experience in this field and confidence in my ability in it. I am organized, reliable
and enthusiastic and I work well in a team. My work experience gave me excellent Skill
My future goal is return to school but while I wait for the recognition of my qualification I
accepted this challenge whit this new profession and I confess I love the experience
I am hard-working, and a level headed person. I am fully focused and willing to go the extra
mile for an employer that can offer the same return. My main interests & hobbies lie in the
Arts, fitness, sport Film and photography. I enjoy hearing music of many different genres,
drawing, reading, photography, watching films and arts & crafts. I also like visiting art
galleries and exhibitions. A big desire of mine is to travel, I believe it is an important part of
life. I know the places I have visited so far have left an impression on me, I am always keen
to discover and explore. Without visiting new places and meeting different people, I would
not have as much awareness of the world. I am a person always ready to accept challenges,
makes me fell truly alive.
In terms of languages, I am fluent in Portuguese, advanced in English, Italian and have an
intermediate level in Spanish.
