I am a TEFL qualified tutor with a relaxed, informal approach to teaching. Lessons aim to be interesting and student focused. Wherever possible, I like to use content that is relevant to you, your interests and your work. This may include songs, video clips, articles, props, or material that you give me.

The whole lesson will be taught in English, so that you are learning all the time and growing in confidence. I may ask you to prepare something in advance of the lesson and I will give you homework. However, I know that if you are a working adult, this may be more difficult to fit into your schedule, so we will work around it.

If you are wanting to improve your English for school, or for your work, or just want to practice conversational English, I am here to help. The first time we meet will be a chance to get to know each other and for me to find out which aspects of English you want to improve. With Business English, for example, I can help with presentations, speaking on the telephone or in video calls, or with reading and writing emails and reports. If you are still at school, we can go over things you have learned in your school lessons to make sure you are happy and understand them.
