I hold bachelor's and master's degrees in English from the University of Lagos, Teacher Subject Specialism Training (Secondary Maths and Core Maths, both passed with Distinction) from the University of Plymouth, and the Post Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of Greenwich. I also hold the Cambridge University Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) and the City and Guilds Subsidiary Diploma in Teaching English (Literacy) in the Lifelong Learning Sector. I hold other qualifications in health management such as the Postgraduate Diploma and the Master of Philosophy in HIV /AIDS management from Stellebosch University (both obtained with Distinction).

I have a professional, calm, and humorous approach to education with an excellent track record of Common Entrance Exam, GCSE, A level and university students consistently obtaining grades C-A*/4-9. I particularly enjoy helping learners to reach their full potential, based on the recognition of each learner's uniqueness. Consequently, I plan for and respond to a variety of learning preferences to develop their knowledge, skills, and behaviour.
