In my second year of university, I was granted the opportunity to tutor my peers who were taking beginner and lower intermediate level courses. I also had the opportunity to have a language exchange with Korean exchange students where we conversed in Korean and in English to help one another on our language learning journey.

Since then, I structure my lessons based on pronunciation. My ultimate goal is to make sure you sound like a native speaker and thus gain the confidence to speak comfortably. After pronunciation, I then move onto vocabulary that will both train and reinforce your pronunciation. Once you feel comfortable, I then move onto topics that interest my students for example, Korean Popular culture, life in Korea, Korean history, Korean culture etc. This ensures that you stay motivated as you learn vocabulary and grammar based on your interests.
