My lessons follow the classroom format and are dependent with individual circumstances, ability and time. A typical lesson starts by dissecting the learning material where I take a leading role - presentations followed by interactions with the students. I always put emphasis on practice by the students, so in this regard there will be plenty of practice as they always say practice is the best teacher. In each lesson, there is a question-and-answer segment. Practice also takes the form of homework. In preceding lessons after homework, the first point is going through the homework to iron out difficult areas. Work is structured to the ability of learner. Learning aids always play a pivotal role in pedagogics. This will always be used. Its always beneficial to relate content learnt with practical examples from the society. What you see, you will never forget. That is the principle we always apply to breakdown content for easy assimilation. Question and answer segments always play a pivotal role in a learning environment. Content learnt should be dissected in bits and pieces in order to practically comprehend and link with new content to come.
