- In past jobs, I have contributed to and created several innovative schemes of work for Years 7-12, organised GCSE 'study skills' workshops and ran GCSE intervention sessions to target pupils who needed extra support. I have also adapted, and even created from scratch many GCSE resources that are specifically tailored to my students’ needs.
- I like to use lots of visuals and also make lessons as interactive as possible using online tools such as online whiteboards, shared documents and online games.

- I have recently undertaken training to become an AQA English GCSE examiner which has given me greater insights into the GCSE mark scheme and assessment objectives, helping me make a huge difference to the students I teach.
- My teaching style aims to promote a natural sense of curiosity and love of learning as well as prioritising the all-important skills needed to excel at English including strong knowledge of core topics and set texts, exam technique and practice as well as revision/study skills.
