Palwasha Sahebi

I am a nursery practitioner working with babies, toddlers and preschool. This means I come across children who English is not their first language, children who may have special education needs such as autism, speech delay. To meet everyone’s unique needs I have to plan and deliver activities that benefits all the pupil. I would first understand the individual student and then plan my lessons based on their needs. This could be the child needs help focusing on learning basic things such as ABC due to ADHD or grouping maths number divisions and homework’s. So we will focus on the things the child is struggling. This could also include helping with homework. I would help the child through visual learning. Doing the tasks together to build interest and focus and I would also look for activities that I could share with them that they could try do as homework. However if they are struggling the next day we can go through it together because it would help with memory recall and understanding.
