Paloma Grimm

Hello! My name is Paloma, I am from London and I have been teaching English since I was 16! I love travelling and have personal experience learning another Language - Spanish. With the wrong teacher learning a language is slow and difficult, but with the right one it can be exciting and rewarding.

My goal is to give you a deep, real understanding of English so you can watch movies, read books, make friends live and work! I focus on pronunciation and listening so you can sound like a native.

Almost all my students struggle with confidence, and they are usually better at English than they think, so I will work with you to be a fearless English speaker.

I don’t believe that speaking alone is enough to learn a new language. I put lot’s of time into planning each lesson. My lessons are structured so we can cover many different skills, and at the end of each lesson you will get a PDF review, with all the important information and homework.

I cover different grammar points, and show you different types of learning materials (podcasts, books, YouTube videos) that you will be interested in. If you like animals, ballet, football or cars I will use you’re interests to motivate you and keep the lesson interesting.

25% of learning happens in the classroom, 75% of learning happens at home! That’s why I give students lots of FUN homework, and mark the homework out of lesson, to maximise you’re classroom time.
