I've always been fascinated by the physical sciences and mathematics, particularly in computing and mathematically modelling physical systems. This passion led me to pursue Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD degrees in Engineering, and I've since gained over a decade of teaching experience at the tertiary level.
During the peak of COVID-19, I adapted to a hybrid teaching approach, delivering in-person and virtually classes to university students. I've also taught foundation students maths, chemistry, and physics, making recorded virtual classes available for their convenience.
I strongly believe in the early identification of a student's capacity and progress, and I value timely feedback from students and parents. This feedback allows me to adjust my teaching style and pace to suit individual needs. I use formative assessments, such as quizzes and self-assessments, to reinforce essential concepts and provide feedback on learning.
With a postgraduate degree from Robert Gordon University in Engineering and experience teaching at the tertiary level, I understand what students need to understand and effectively apply concepts. I use this knowledge to help build confidence in my students and prepare them for exams during tutorial sessions.
