Hello,
I teach painting and drawing for adults from complete beginners to those with some experience but with a desire to further their abilities. I also teach private lessons and small workshops to children from KS1 - KS3.

Hello,
I teach painting and drawing for adults from complete beginners to those with some experience but with a desire to further their abilities. I also teach private lessons and small workshops to children from KS1 - KS3.
My teaching involves having fun with the basics such as mark-making and colour-mixing using a limited colour palette. These subjects as well as composition, perspective and observational drawing occurs naturally throughout most of my lessons in a rotational nature. Portraiture and landscape studies also play an important part of my teaching both on an observational level and through drawing from the imagination.
I teach one-to-one at my studio or at the student's home or I can teach groups at my studio or at a local community centre. I also teach online using Zoom or FaceTime.
I have a wide range of materials to experiment with in my studio but I do encourage students to collect decent quality materials so that they can practice at home. I will advise accordingly.
