I will split lessons into individual topics and tend to spend around 2/3 of the lesson going through the content, before spending the rest of the time consolidating that knowledge with some actual exam

I believe that the best way to tackle scientific subjects is practice, practice and more practice! The lessons will be engaging and conversational, prompting you to walk through the content at your own pace with support from myself. My lessons are built upon a foundation of curiosity. When students are curious about a topic, they are more engaged and motivated to learn. Therefore, I strive to make science exciting and relevant to their daily lives. I use real-world examples and my own experience whenever possible to help them see the practical applications of what they're learning.

I also place a strong emphasis on critical thinking and problem-solving skills. In the ever-evolving world of science, it's not just about memorizing facts but also about understanding the process of inquiry. I encourage students to ask questions, analyze data, and draw conclusions. This helps them become independent thinkers who can apply their knowledge to new situations.

Another crucial aspect of my teaching method is fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. I want every student to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and sharing their perspectives. By creating a safe space for discussion and exploration, I believe we can help each child reach their full potential.
