I am a first class English Literature Graduate from Durham University. I achieved 98% in A level English and and A* at GCSE. I am a passionate creative writer, experienced critic and very proficient academic writer. I have a detailed knowledge of poetry, fiction, short fiction as drama having recently achieved an MA in Acting. My passion for literature and the study of it shines through in all I do. I have experience working in a school, coaching and tutoring students of all ages from primary to adults. I have worked as a dramaturg on Shakespeare in a secondary school and at Drama school. With a teaching and tutoring family I have learned many techniques from my my siblings and parents. If you want to tick the right boxes for exams I can certainly do so. If you want to take the study of English further, harness your writing skills and creative/critical voice that is where I truly excel.
