Hi! I'm currently studying my master's degree in Food Science and Engineering in Paris, at Université Paris-Saclay in a Erasmus Mundus+ Program that intends to create value and professionals to address the food chain and development for a very challenging world from different perspectives such as sustainability, affordable indulgence and healthy food design. As you may imagine, I'm a foodie science guy that really enjoys what he's doing.
I've always loved to teach and tutor in science related fields. I would be happy to help out with either one of them. I have experience teaching online. During pandemic I became a high school teacher while I held a full time job as a Food Product Developer Manager, later, I became an on-site teacher also for high school. This was probably one of the most fulfilling experiences in my career so far and I would like to re-live it, hence, my proposition for this job.
My goal is to help you overcome any fear or difficulties in science related fields from the background of the topic itself I have the skills to do so.
I was a Product Developer and R&D Manager interested in continuing a career in the Food Industry overseeing research activities and develop knowledge-based and consumer-oriented products for a company; acquiring food regulatory information, innovation ingredients & process knowledge to establish systems to lead an R&D team.
Previously, I had worked in Sweets and Salty snacks overseeing around 15 different categories of products targeted for Mexico, United States and Latin American markets, managing cross-functional teams in different sites
