My lesson is a way to find something engaging and my students discover that they can learn and also have fun with the topics they are learning and propelling them for a wide view of the world that is surrounded by cultures, people, places, and nature. I usually use the communicative approach in my lessons, but I also work on some books beacuse reading is one of the skills that you will need in order to acquire new vocabulary from different topics. In other hand listening is one of the most important because my students get use to Spanish sounds only when they listen to native speakers in their natural speed at the beginning, this is one of the most difficult skills, but then my students get used to the Spanish mumbling. This is funny if you know that we all have to go through this process in order to acquire a new language.
I also use my free time activities for teaching some grammar rules, for example:I usually go walking around my city to take some pictures of places that I like because they have a story to tell and they evoke old times with the essence of modern development. Then I enable a good lesson atmosphere with landscapes that nature has created to show us its beauty and wilderness.
Moreover, I like to share touristic places in my country through pictures on Google maps, so you might find some of my photos when searching for a landmark in Colombia.
