Hello, I'm Orla.
I'm from Belfast and I work in a secondary school in Dublin. I teach English and Social Studies and work individually with children with additional needs or who are learning English as an additional language.
I love reading and discussing literature. I enjoy swimming and walking in my free time.
I'm highly qualified and my background in English, Psychology and Education makes me a great teacher.
I love to learn new things so I try to inspire others in on their learning journey!
My classes vary depending on the student's needs. I have prepared students for exams such as IELTS, KET and PET. I have taught various popular courses (Reach Higher and Our World from National Geographic, Oxford Reading Tree, Great Writing, and RAZ). I taught for Whales English where I was rated 5* in teacher evaluations. A video of one of my classes was also used for training other teachers. I have taught adults and children at itutor and eTeacher/ Langaroo. I also work in a secondary school. While I teach mainstream classes, I also work one on one with children with additional needs and offer them learning support. I have tutored for Irish Leaving Certificate, A Levels, GCSEs and 11 Plus.
