My lesson formats is by guiding the students in the subject area, firstly listening to understand their capabilities in each topic, identifying weaknesses and strengths to be able to decipher if I'll start from the basics or intermediate.

With the above approach, I'll pick each topic area he or she is lacking behind and impact the knowledge by picking examples of the topic, break it down and solve examples while doing that, I'll ensure that the student is paying a close attention to detail and any difficult area will be revisited and reviewed or retaught to ensure we are on the same page.

Thereafter, I'll issue him about two to three examples and guide the student on the actual or basic required formulas in solving the problem and step by step guide to tackle the questions head on.

Then, we will review his/her works again, see some erroneous part and correct diligently by encouraging the students with words that builds confidence in the student. This will enable me bring out the best in the child while mentoring the student on his career goals in life.

After, the students works has been marked and corrected, I'll go ahead to give another extra homework which will enable them practice more at their leisure time to ensure the topic is well understood. This will then be marked on our next lesson or class. However, the student reserves the right to engage me via my phone number should he or she gets stuck in any particular area.

On our next lesson, we will review the assignments by solving them and ensure that all doubts or fears are resolved then we move to the next topic.

Also, we will approach it using the students timetable and scheme of work to cover areas for the term before the subjects are being taught in the class which will give my students a better standing in the class and exams.
