I mostly use the laughter technique because I believe laughing with your students makes them feel more connected to me, and relaxed. I introduce Humour thereby bringing characters to life, bringing in history to make an example, I introduce games where my students can be creative, problem solving and communicative. I revise the previous topics with them. I use funny and exaggerated words to explain things or tell stories to my students. I deliberately write incorrect sentences and bad spellings and then discuss to them why it is wrong because I believe it encourages students to know making mistakes isn’t a crime. I try to use current topics to get them engaged so that we can have a good conversation between us. I introduce some few minutes break for my students so that they won’t feel so stressed out in class.
