The way I teach is the way I always wanted my teachers to teach me: Starting each lesson by designing it around my specific needs, introducing new concepts bit by bit, giving time to ask questions, and repetition as much as necessary for a solid understanding.

In my profession - medicine - this method of teaching is indispensable, and any teacher or learner who attempts to replace it will inevitably have to come back to it if they aim to incorporate learning into practice. You may memorize things by reading them repeatedly, but you can't use them either as basis or further learning or for practical use until you can logically understand them and can explain them clearly to someone else. By the end of each lesson I teach, I will ask you to use the simplest terms to explain to me what I just taught you, and I guarantee you'll know how to.

My first hour of teaching will be completely for free. If you feel I'm not the right match for your educational needs, then you shouldn't feel forced to pay for a lost hour of your precious time. I'm also always open for feedback, so feel free to tell me how you think I should change my ways to give you the maximum benefit you can get from your learning time.
