Hello my name is Omar, I am a first year engineering student at the university of Hertfordshire, so I can appreciate that it is daunting and so I will include a wide range of individual activities as well as open discussions in our sessions. Although this might sounds formal, I am completely laid back and easy to communicate with regarding any concern as I am here to help you achieve your goals. I am extremely familiar and confident with the GCSE and A level curriculum and with my strong background in both Computer Science and Mathematics. I am able to support anyone who needs help gaining a better understanding in the subjects. I have completed both computer science and mathematics at both stages, A levels and GCSE'S, so I have got a good first hand experience with these subjects and topics. I have experience teaching both in person as well as zoom and saving notes for pupils to access in the future, I understand the importance of patience, organisation and key communication which is needed when tutoring students. I love this subject and hope that I can give my students the tools they need to become more comfortable and succeed with topics they find challenging. I hope to work closely between you, the parent and your child. As together we can better prepare them for the challenges they will face in their assessments. I will also teach them exam techniques which help them understand how to pick apart questions, to obtain the important and relative information within the question, and how to get to a suitable answer.
