I have studied Biology and chemistry in GCSE, A-Levels, and i am now studying pharmacy in university which is concentrated in those subjects, i am very passionate about them. In my lessons, i will be focusing on the students weaknesses and will not move onto the next topic until i feel the student has fully understood the topic, i will gain a rough idea of where the student is at by making them complete an exam paper on the subject, and after i mark it i will know their strengths and weaknesses. At the end of each topic, the student will complete a topic quiz with exam question similar to those on the real exam, if they do well on that test, i will feel confident in moving on to the next topic. I will teach the students each topic by making a powerpoint or a slideshow containing the information and notes on that topic, after every few slides i will place a few questions to make sure the students have understood what was mentioned in the previous slides. I will also have certain lessons focusing on answering exam questions and going through exam papers, teaching the students exam skills and how they should structure their answers. As the date of the exams get nearer, i will make the lessons more past paper focused, so i will assign the students past papers to complete, and i will go through them in the lesson, explaining what they done wrong, what they should have done and how to improve, to help them get the highest marks in their exam.
