I have got an undergraduate academic training in Industrial Chemistry where I gained knowledge of the chemical components of Food, Textile, Colour, Paper, Petroleum, Pharmaceuticals, among others and their interactions.
My experiences in wet chemistry laboratories carrying out analyses as helped me appreciate the role chemistry plays in our everyday life and has propelled me to take up the challenge of helping both young and old have a great foundation and increasing interest in the world of Chemistry.
I love to introduce a topic to my audience by telling a fascinating story to arouse their curiosity, birthing questions that Chemistry has got an answer for. Helping everyone have a good understanding using diagrams, case studies and other visual aids for knowledge impactation.
Also, I make my class sessions as interactive as possible allowing participants air their views on what they know or have heard about the topic of discuss.
Furthermore, learning links and resources to aid further studying are shared with participants to help them with studying in their private moments.
At the end of each sessions, thought provoking questions are given to participants to help them in the step by step practical applications of what they have been thought. If it's not a One-to- One class, participants are distributed into groups so they can rub minds and learn from one another.
To cap it all, I am accessible to my students or trainees for interactions outside the classroom as this will help boost their confidence in the subject matter.
