I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography and Planning Sciences from Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko Nigeria and I graduated with Second Upper Class honours.
I also hold an Advanced TEFL/TESOL Certificate from Global Language Training, London, including Teaching Adults and Teaching Young Learners.
I have a certificate in Teaching Students who Suffered Complex Trauma from Queensland University of Technology.
I'm a result-oriented individual with a proven skill set in relating effectively with excellent oral and written communication skill. I have the ability to effectively and efficiently coordinate activities utilizing innovative, dynamic and pedagogical means.
I teach lessons appropriate to the level of the students in that class. I believe that lesson materials should be adapted (or "differentiated") where possible to suit students with specific learning needs, whether they are stronger in some areas, or weaker. I take cognizance of the age of my students and give appropriate tasks for that age group.
I believe that a lesson shouldn't lose its pace, and should contain a variety of tasks, so I always ensure that while teaching, I don't let the lesson lose its pace, and I'm always prepared to move tasks around, add things to my plan or remove things if I feel I need to.
My classes are usually activity based and student centered. I employ both visual and audio methodologies for different categories of learners. I use instructional materials to make my lessons interactive and enriching.
