I am a certified food and science educator with extensive experience in food chemistry, food processing, preparation, and nutrition. With many years of experience in food safety and hygiene, I have taught and conducted research at both graduate and undergraduate levels. My career has spanned four countries across three continents, allowing me to collaborate with food scientists worldwide and gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art food analytical equipment. This has led to numerous publications in peer-reviewed food science journals.
Currently, I lead the Food Technology and Design Department at Beechwood School in Slough, UK, where I teach KS3 and KS4 students. I focus on developing their food handling, preparation, and nutritional science skills, preparing them for their GCSEs and future careers in food science.
