I have always been confronted with the challenge of making a meaningful learning experience for my students.
That is, creating connections between students’ learning journey and their lives.

A few years ago, as I was teaching an introductory course in mathematics, I asked myself:
‘In what ways could learning about mathematics help them with their future career?’
Answers are not always straightforward since mathematics is arguably more practical than theoretical such as things done everyday lives,and many sectors such the banking,d so on.

Here are some adopted methods to ensure effective learning.

1. Making content as meaningful as possible

2. Promoting self knowledge

3. Student centered- approach

4. Bringing the real world into classroom to relate with for easy understand of topic varieties.

5. Shared knowledge and resource are adopted

These above help you better navigate the classroom and provide a more meaningful learning experience to students.
But more importantly, I seize every opportunity to have conversations with my students about what matters to them.
I observe them more intently and take note of their interests and aspirations and make sure to take these into account when preparing your day’s lesson as well.
It cannot be over-emphasized classroom materials needed to promote a perfect learning environment are PowerPoint, quizzes,d so on are the Rightly needed tools which cannot be avoided .
