Olukemi Dowokpor

I begun teaching French in 2003 as a vocational activity having returned from France where I did my 1st year of University education. I quickly developed a passion for teaching languages to children and set up several after school language classes. I continued my University education and graduated in Law and Economics in 2001 but carried on running my language classes. In 2020 I did an Online language teachers training program and also qualified as an English teacher. I have since taught English to French professionals, students and children using the Cambridge English methods such as Empower and Kids box. My students are very pleased with the fun and lively teaching methods that is crafted based on their passions and learning styles.

I run classes ranging from 45 minutes to 2 hours, ensuring the the time is well divided to include the development of grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening and speaking. My classes aim to move learners from 1 level of the CEFR -A1 - C2, giving them tips of how to develop their continuous listening and speaking skills which in my experience present the greatest challenges to learners.

I now want to consecrate the rest of my working life to transferring language skills to various groups of learners.
