Being dyslexic myself and managing its difficulties, I work well with students who deal with the same issues and I help them overcome barriers to make them feel more confident - dyslexia is a gift!
I will normally share a One note with students where they can also write to make online lessons interactive.
We go through topics that they are struggling with, school work that they can't wrap their head around and practise questions. I also go into revision methods and organisation with prepared templates as well as exam technique methods to make them prepared for their exams.
Establishing a dialogue with the student and well as the parents to be able to cater to their specific needs is what I find most important. To be able to have open conversations so that they figure out what is holding them back and be a guide to help them navigate their own challenges to reach their full potential. From my experience, no two students are ever the same and therefore no lesson I give is ever the same.
