I have just completed my degree in Ancient History at the University of Edinburgh and have studied History all the way through school up to A level. This means that I have wide subject knowledge, with more depth in areas associated with Ancient Greece and Rome. I consistently received good grades through school, which I have continued to achieve at university and have learned many valuable skills and techniques that I can pass on to help you achieve those marks as well!

I am an enthusiastic and patient teacher and would take my time to get to know my students, how they learn, and what they require from tutoring. My lessons will be tailored to the needs of each student as I understand that everyone learns differently and at different speeds. In order to do this I would use various tools such as worksheets, powerpoints and quizzes. I would do my best to provide high-quality study materials and guides to aid with this as well, once again making an effort to ensure that this was tailored to the individual.

Additionally, for those studying history at a higher educational level, I can offer guidance on essays or past papers done in school to help students improve their performance there having undertaken many in my time at school and throughout the university.

Finally, I will ensure that whilst my lessons are informational they are also enjoyable and I will endeavour to create a welcoming and friendly environment as I know how daunting a subject history can be.
