I enjoy teaching in a way that is motivational and fun; I believe that learning new things or tackling concepts that you find challenging can be exciting. I don't want to just teach you new ideas, I want to help you become a better learner, using growth mindset techniques and working on resilience. Mistakes are important in learning, otherwise you won't be learning anything new! Having worked as a teacher for six years I understand that it is important to fit the lesson to individual needs; if you need to take more time on one idea or concept then that is what we will do! Our lessons can be fun and flexible, it's important that you enjoy the lesson as it will make you want to keep working rather than seeing learning as a chore. I want to help you feel proud of your accomplishments and will work around what your needs are. I am able to break ideas down in a way that will make them seem less scary and will take the time you need to feel confident in your learning.
