Olivia Mccrae

My experience is broad, it ranges from History, Geography, Politics, Religious Education and PSHE. I have 6 years teaching in Lancashire main stream schools and some experience in SEN schools and independent schools. I am relaxed and approachable with a huge need to see my pupils succeed.
My pupils say I am firm but fair, building positive relationships with pupils enabled them to succeed and I truly believe my skills and teaching approach are why I make a good tutor!
My lessons are filled with a range of activities, visuals (love a video) and some teacher explanation to help you succeed as best as you can. I use powerpoint for my lessons and lots of revision methods to enhance learning and recall.
I currently teach at a mainstream school in Lancashire, teaching history to secondary students. I have experience working with children of all ages but secondary children are mainly where my experience lies!
