I have just graduated from the University of Leeds with a 2:1 in a Chemistry and Mathematics degree. I have almost 3 years of tutoring experience, leading over 50 students in Years 2 through 10 to improve subject knowledge in Mathematics and English, as well as general abilities in learning, studying, and retaining information.

I have always enjoyed Maths and Science as I love to problem-solve. The sense of achievement I get when finding the answer to a complex problem is the best feeling! I also love to see the real-world applications of my work and how the effort I put in can be used in a wide variety of important fields such as healthcare and engineering. I am very excited at the opportunity to pass on my knowledge and teach subjects that I am passionate about.

One of my proudest moments during my 3 years of tutoring was when one of my students came to me struggling with his grades as he found it hard to focus on his work and often became easily distracted. Throughout my time working with him I developed new techniques and methods to help him remain focussed. This allowed him to actually learn the content I was teaching and led to him achieving amazing grades in his end of year exams. I am very proud of this as I was challenged to find new ways of communicating and teaching, which led to my student performing well.

I am excited at this new opportunity to tutor online and to continue working in a field that I am really passionate about!
