I will offer lessons in the format that I found worked best for me when I was studying for my GCSE’s- a layered system. Beginning with a simple fact, and then developing this point as my confidence grows in the topic. This, coupled with a variety of mini tests, games and resources for active recall all contributed to my understanding of each subject, and ultimately I obtained 5 Grade 9’s and 4 Grade 8’s in my GCSE exams. I have experience in tutoring people at my school in the exam period and they commented on my creative ways of revision, and my enthusiasm when teaching which led me to consider helping other students via tutoring. My goal is to tutor in a way that makes the students feel confident, prepared and relaxed before their exams, and develop their understanding of the subject to the level that they desire.
