I am a university student studying Law.
I believe children should be given the best opportunities to excel. I managed to get where I am due to some amazing people, and I wish to provide the same for your children.

I am passionate about the subjects that I tutor, ones that made me who I am and have provided me with the wide range of knowledge I have.

I believe that children can retain knowledge best with interactive activities (for primary-aged children) to keep them engaged. Younger children don't always enjoy learning, and I hope I can help them enjoy learning. I am a patient person, which is needed when tutoring, because if you are visibly stressed, the children will pick up on that, and their learning will be affected. I believe in encouragement and rewards so that they work hard to reach a goal (which will be a life skill and teaches resilience in their studies and life)

I believe that teenagers should feel confident in their knowledge and need to be listened to and understood when they don't understand things. When it comes to approaching GCSE students, you need to be patient and calm as well. I will provide them with skills and knowledge to help answer questions without telling them the answer, so they can learn and use these skills in their studies and exams. I aim to give them the knowledge they need, and therefore confidence.

I don't have any professional tutoring experience but have 2 younger siblings who I have consistently helped with their studies to where they excelled in their grades. Furthermore, I have read with younger children and helped them improve their reading skills.
