Lessons will be quite laid back and informal but to begin with, we can speak about how you currently find things in school, and what you think you struggle with. Then, to make sure gaps in your knowledge is filled, i will have a list in topics that are likely to appear in SATs, or are relevant, and we can work from there.

On a normal lesson, it will begin with trying to see if you can remember what we last spoke about, and if you are able to go about a question confidently and comfortably. If not, we can re visit that topic until you feel ready to move on. If you didn’t need to re visit the last topic, a new topic can be started and we can build up the skills and knowledge you need to tackle a question you struggled to begin before.
One lesson a week, to clock over the skills of questions that appear in SATs, we can go through a past paper. You will be able to attempt the questions that come up to see how you find it, and your score at the end will be recorded: each week i will be able to track the progress you make. We can mark your work together, and on the questions you get wrong or miss marks on, i will go through with you to help you understand.
Overall, i feel this would be very beneficial to students, and definitely worth considering.
