I have an MA degree in Social Anthropology and Spanish With An Integrated Year Abroad from the University of St Andrews in Scotland. I have prior informal and formal teaching experience. I have worked in a secondary school in Valencia for eight months as an English Language Assistant. I was an English Teacher at St Andrews College Language School and I have undertaken online "teaching english as a foreign language" courses with the British Council. I have experience with journalism and writing. I wrote for multiple university magazines such as: The Drew, The Record, Protocol magazine, Haute magazine, HASTA magazine, ST- ART magazine, the New Global Normal magazine, Calliope Arts Journal, The St Andrews Foreign Affairs Review, The St Andrews Law Review, The St Andrews Economist and The St Andrews Africa Summit Review as well as Sustainable Style's blog, Concrete Catwalk's blog and The United Nations Association of St Andrews blog. Post university, I have written for Valencia Life and Valencia 24/7- The English Speaking Connection. I shall be published by MAZE magazine (neuroscience and psychology) in September and Art Pot magazine shortly. I worked as an English Mentor in the Czech Republic and was an English Language Assistant at Alba English Language School for three consecutive summers which I loved. I speak French and Spanish fluently and have recreationally studied Asiatic languages such as Chinese, Japanese and Cantonese in my spare time at university. I was a fashion stylist for Haute magazine and an illustrator for Unearth magazine (environmental).
